Meet Dr. Kyle Keene
Dr. Kyle Keene D.O. is a board certified physician in Family Medicine with an emphasis in Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Toxicology from UC Davis and attended medical school at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Keene completed his residency in Family Medicine at UC San Diego. While completing his residency he became certified in Integrative Medicine by the University of Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine.
After residency, Dr. Keene moved, with his family, to his wife’s hometown of Santa Cruz, where he practiced family medicine & osteopathic medicine at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation.
In 2019 Dr. Keene transitioned to his own practice focused solely on Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine and musculoskeletal treatments. His goal is to provide his patients with a more personalized experience and to increase access to osteopathic treatment in the Santa Cruz community.
Dr. Keene’s background in family medicine and his additional training in integrative medicine give him a deep understanding of health, wellness and the human body as a whole system. He believes the body has a huge capacity to self heal and he uses his osteopathic skills and principles to aide in this process.
When he isn’t practicing medicine Dr. Keene enjoys spending time with his family, wood-working in his garage, cooking good food, drinking good coffee, practicing environmental conservation, mountain biking, climbing, surfing, hiking, reading and traveling.
